Wiltshire County Golf Union The 14th at Marlborough Golf Club with the Downs in the background

The Wiltshire County Golf Union was founded in 1924 and exists to represent male golfers in the county and to promote the game of golf.

The WCGU is the effective link with the English Golf Union and the governing body, the Council, consists of a member of each of the affiliated clubs in Wiltshire and representatives of the Executive Committee which runs the day to day affairs of the Union.

The Executive Committee consists of: County President, Deputy President and Immediate Past President, our County Captain, Vice Captain and Treasurer, our voting representative at the EGU, our Junior Golf Delegate and the Secretary. Other members of the Executive are co-opted to help run the affairs of the Union.
