We have been saddened to learn that Ralph Robertson passed away on the 3rd January.

Ralph was a stalwart of Wiltshire golf for many years, playing for the County at all levels and being County Champion in 1964 and 1970 and Seniors Champion an unprecedented seven times in 9 years between 1992 and 2000. 

Ralph was Captain of Ogbourne in 1977 and President in 1995.  He won the Club Championship in  1960, 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1969 as well as winning numerous trophies throughout the years at Ogbourne. He served on the Executive Committee of the Club for many years and also served on the County Executive and on the Tournament panel of the English Golf Union. 

In 2003 Ralph was given Honorary Life Membership of Ogbourne.
