Day 2.
A very disappointing 5 over par round of 77 for Ben takes him back to 1 under par for the Championship and 5 shots off the individual lead. A level par round from Ben's partner, Adam Keogh, leaves the team score +3, 6 shots off the lead of the pairing from Argentina.
Day 1.
Ben Loughrey has been picked to represent the EGU in Peru as part of a two man team with Adam Keogh from Lincolnshire. The combined scores of the pair over four rounds count to the team event but Ben opened with a 6 under par round of 66 to lead the individual competition by 3 shots.
Without a dropped shot on his card Ben made his score on the four par 5's, birdies on the first 3 and an eagle on the last of them putting him 5 under and adding one more birdie for his 6 under total.
In the team event thanks to Ben's superb round England lie in joint first place despite Adam's disappointing 4 over total.
