Squads for the 2013 season will be selected using an Order of Merit system based on a series of 2012 events.

You can enter here for the OOM, individual events must be entered separately.

The top 12 boys in each age group will automatically go forward to County squad training. 
There will also be 4 Managers picks making up a total of 16 players in each squad.
There will be separate Order of Merit tables for each age group that will be up-dated on the relevant junior section of the WCGU website.
The winners of the Order of Merit for Under 18 and Under 16 will receive a permanent memento of their achievement.

2012 tournaments that will count toward Order of Merit points are a mixture of Club Junior Opens and County run events as follows: 

The top 20 and ties in each age group will be awarded points as follows :-.

** County Championship bonus points

Points will be awarded for each round of The County Championship plus bonus points for the top six finishers.
1st 20 points 2nd 15 points 3rd 12 points 4th 10 points 5th 8.5 points 6th  7.5 points

In the event of tied places the points total of those tied places will be added together and then divided equally between the tied players.
Points for the County Championship, will be allocated based on the finishing position within their Age Group, not the Championship finishing position.

If a player submits a “no return card” then 10 points will be deducted from their points total.

This will not apply to players who fall ill or who are injured during play.
