The final Wessex league match for 2011 and a win could see Wiltshire become runners up.
Wiltshire started on fire winning 4 -1 in the morning foursomes. Another point for young Ben Hayward who has been a point’s machine since joining us this year. So onto the singles our Achilles heel throughout the year another good start in matches 1 & 2 and then the collapse matches 3-9 lost with only Captain David Hopkins managing to break his duck on singles and win 2/1. Match lost Gwent win 9 – 8 very disappointing and something we must learn from.
May I thank the players and Malcolm Nixon who have supported both Wiltshire and myself this year. David Hopkins
