The above match was held today at Salisbury & South Wilts GC. On handicap comparison our boys had a slight edge on the opposition on paper. The morning foursomes over 9 holes gave a valuable poimt advantage of 2.5 to 1.5. The afternoon singles started with great confidence and at the turn our boys were up in 7 and all square in one match! The advantages were slim, being in general at One Up with the exception of the higher handicappers at the rear who were in a more secure situation. At the final hole the singles were shared at 4 all leaving that morning advantage to give our boys another win. The under 14 boys are undefeated this year. Let us hope that they continue this trend next week at Weybrook Park.
