Many thanks to Salisbury and South Wilts for making their course available for this important pre-season get together of the squads who will make up the backbone of our representative sides in 2011. 

Special mention to the Junior team who looked to be outclassed on paper but with one match still out on the course were all square with the best of the County players from the Channel League squad: Dan Philimore winning both of his games and Henry Pallas with a win and a half were the stars. The County Captain though, bringing up the rear closed out his match to ensure that the honours were won by the senior side.

Some good results from the Wessex League team against the juniors narrowed the overall points gap and meant the top side emerged victors on the day by only half a point. Every player enjoyed a competitive match in perfect spring weather and the three Captains had an opportunity to look at their players early season form.
